Dying brown hair black??

Well I'd really like to dye my hair black, but I have brown hair (on the lighter side) and my eyebrows are brown too. Any ideas on how to dye my hair black and NOT make it look horrible?

I would really think twice about dying brown hair black (my friend did it, and it turned a terrible green!) I would go dark, dark brown (which looks black in most lighting situations) to give the illusion of black. Black dyes tend to look fake.

don't go all the way black, go to a dark chocolate brown. it will appear almost black but it's not so harsh.

if you're worried about dying your hair black, then try the colour pulse mousse dyes from l'oreal in black, it washes out in 10 washes, so that way if you don't like it you don't have to live with it and pay a ton to get it fixed after

or if you want more permanent colour try dying your hair dark brown, because it will look black for the first 2-3 weeks and it'll look more natural

then dont dye your whole hair black, that would look bad.

get balck lowlights[darker highlights]

Your hair will look darker and look like it has more dimension and will be overall prettierr.

well i wouldent if you wouldnt like it to be perminent because it a beep to take it ouy of your hair and if you decide to go dark brown and buy it from a drug store make sure its not to dark bacause the coloor are cheap it will just go black on you to stick to mediam brown and it should go on a dark brown

well my sister does hair and alot of people go in asking for black but end up changing there mind..and im thnking since you have light brown hair it mite be a little bit to drastic so why dont you try a darker brown...

i would strongely recommend you to not go black- and i'm speaking from experience i dyed my brown hair to black- although at first i liked it but now that iw ant to go back brown i have to get it done profressonally and plus get highlights becuase bleach can ruin the hair. i would think about it one more time before you go black becuase then you really can't go back ( lols)
