Lighten DARK brown hair?

ok, so most people think that i have black hair. WRONG! i have really dark brown hair (as you can see in the pictures below). i really wanna lighten my hair color, but nothing really drastic. just a nice, lighter brown. any ideas? i heard of chamomile tea, but i also read that it's for lightening blonde hair. i just wanna do something natural. no dye. and i'm also getting my hair cut on saturday. any advice on that? i like change :)

If you really want to lighten it with out a dye you could buy camomille shampoo, or plain make your own. Camomille lightens hair through time. Women in Italy have been using it for years. ;o)

It is harder to lighten your hair and get the color you want if you are doing it at home. It is much easier to go darker. My suggestion is to get it professionally done and then try and do the up keep at home afterwards. You may have to pay some money, but its better than messing up your hair and then paying someone to fix it. Best of luck!
