its just so annoying...judging by hair color. All the guys i liked that had both brown hair and eyes dont like me at all cause im brown headed and in the past date only blondes...why is this? has any seen different?

yes, i've seen different. : ) i get annoyed by this too, because there are many guys where i live who have this attitude, but still many don't. i guess they like blondes because they're such a contrast to their looks. also, i think many people find blonde attractive because it's a haircolor which symbolizes youth...the same reason many women dye their hair blonde.

Thus, the idea that "gentlemen prefer blondes," while propagated culturally though ads, entertainment, etc, actually ties back to "cavemen preferring blondes."

I've dyed my hair many different colors and noticed that I got a lot more male attention when I was a blonde.

There are papers written on how blue-eyed blondes evolved in caveman times because they stood out among the dark haired dark eyed females.

So, if you keep your hair like it is, pretty soon you'll stand out from all the bleached blondes and they'll notice you instead. Just a theory. :P

They date them bcuz they're easy and almost never say no. That's why blondes have more fun. Not because they are smart. (obviously). Just because they look like paris hilton and are easy. That's why. Personally i prefer a good brown haired or black hair w/ a good head on their shoulder's. They have been proven to be more successful on a business point of view. And they can think for themselves. I'd rather date a woman like that any day.

yep annoys the sh*t out of me too! i am a natural blond with brown eyes and i hate the attention i get because most guys who like me want me for one thing and one thing only! i liked the cave man answer! that was funny, but all i can suggest is be yourself and someone will surely like you! its just too bad some guys are shallow eh! and as for blonds being stupid i dont bloody think so! i have you know thats just a myth and the fact we get compared with that good paris hilton is an insult haha i am intelligent but i too often get called a stupid blond! haha
