I have really dark brown hair and would love to get a lighter red color. But it seems like my hair only ever gets darker when I dye it myself, and I'm not willing to cough up the fundage to get it done professionally. Can anyone offer opinions/suggestions on what would work best? Thanks much =)

I've heard that the herbal essences dye color stuff works the best. You can do it yourself and its really easy
