Black person Light brown hair blond Streaks in hair? OK?

Hey whats up! I am black or african american but I am really light. Lighter than Beyonce. And I have green eyes and golden brown hair. I saw this girl on Degrassi that was black and sort of like me and she had blond streaks in her hair. Like where her bangs are. I think it looks really cute but Im not sure every one agrees with me. I would only streak or die parts of my hair. Small parts! Probley around my bangs or around there. And I think it would be nice. Is that fine? And my hair is not black its a golden brown type color. A really light color. Would it look ok? Please help and if you know any one who did this please tell me. Thanks!! =D

Where you talking about liberty? I think it would look nice with the complexion you describe. But you shouldn't care what answers you get. If you think it looks good then who cares what everyone thinks. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so, something that looks good to someone may not look that hot to another person.

i think it would look awesome with your coloring. i think around your face would be perfect, add some spark to your eyes you know?

Yes that would be fine but get highlights everywhere not just around the front and top. It would look better.

I say yeah, just don't over do it, maybe honey blond streaks ?

or just 3 shade s lighter than you natural hair color I would say that for anyone who has dark hair ( unless of course you are going for a seriously dramatic effect)

You should go with what you think would look nice on you and not worry what other people think. You sound beautiful.

I remember a young man asking me and some other young ladies in my classroom why we wear make up and get dressed up if we aren't going anywhere. It was a consensus that we like to look nice for ourselves and don't do it for anyone else. A lot of guys don't get that concept.

Women are vain. Even if just for themselves. Men actually created us to be that way. Look at the magazines, the tv, the movies, the videos. It's all out there. Women look good even at their worst.

If your bangs are the audrey hepburn type you'll look terrible. However face framing side bangs wiuld be lovely! Just remember to layer the bangs by your facial features and make the longest layer end about two inches below your chin. The magic is always a combination of color and texture.

First of all what no one has mentioned is if you have your hair relaxed or permed you should never, ever use any bleach or bleach type product on your hair. That is probably what you'd have to use. If you try to lighten your hair with just hair dye it will probably turn brassy (orangey). The person you saw probably had blond extentions added or did not have relaxed hair.

If you do bleach your hair and it's relaxed it WILL fall out, period. I know, I did it and my hair fell out. Yeah, the hair was a pretty color for the time before it all fell out, thank goodness I only did the bang area (now I have to wear extentions until my bang grows back in). I wish I could go back in time and not do it.
