Accidentally dyed hair black but still have brown patches on the back?

i naturally ahve dark brown hair but have been dying it since iwas in grade 6 (now in grade 10)

well about a month ago my hair was medium brown with lighter streaks and i wanted to dye it all dark brown

so i get and 'at home kit' of the color i want ...and it comes out JET BLACK

i franticly jump in the shower and try to rinse out as much of the color as i can but it didnt get any out...except for the back where there are patched of light brown which are clearly visible

i went to the hair salon and they said if i try to dye it back any time soon it could turn a greenish color and it would take about 6 hours

so all in all:

what would u do in this situation?

and idea how to cover up the light patches in teh back?

(my hair goes to about the middle of my back)

dye it over again.mine was light blond and black and i went right back to all black .i was worried about the greenish but it was ok .you might want to check after washing your hair a couple times and dye it over again. you should be good after that
