I have light brown hair and would like to die the top part dark brown with blonde underneath. Would this look bad or should I just stick with some highlights

Depends on your overall look. But usually I find it more attractive when it's blonde on top and brown underneath. Do what ever you feel more confident about, and as long as you can show that your confident it won't really matter.

it will depend on exactly what blonde ur referring to, also if ur natural hair color is brown then highlights is more recommend it, it will help bright ur face up more than having a color on top and another underneath.
