From brown hair to a blonde colour?

right hi i have really dark brown hair(almost black) i want to go a honey blonde colour i have tryed it once it made my roots lighter but not the rest of my hair cause it was dark how can i get hair to that colour with out it going ginger?

alos my hair orginally is a 2tone colour with red and brown

The only way to lighten your hair is with bleach.

Bleach is tough to deal with, because you have to watch it closely. Plus, it can damage your hair.

You're best bet is to go into a local beauty supply store and ask them what they recommend. That way you can get the same products professionals use at a lower cost. Only thing is you'll have to do it yourself and you risk running into problems.

Just make sure you tell them everything about your hair... Like the natural two-tone color, it's current condition, stuff like that. They should be able to help you out and give you directions they feel best suits your hair.

You will have to slowly change your hair or it will become very damaged. You will probably only be able to go a shade or two lighter every time you get your hair coloured but as long as you have a good hairdresser you could probably get to your shade in like 6-12 months
