Yesterday I dyed my golden/light brown hair auburn, but it turned out much darker than I wanted it. I want a medium to light brown colour with subtle reddish tones, not this harsh dark red colour. It's way too dark for my pale skin. If I use a light ash brown colour on my hair will that dye it a more natural brownish/auburn colour? What would you reccomend using?

NO NO NO NO, don't put an ash color on your head, your hair will be dull dull dull. After a while and all the washings it will fade, if still not happy then next time put on a medium golden blonde,L'Oreal Creme, there will be reddish high lites
