Medium brown hair to dark dark brown. should i do it?

i have like medium brown hair and like blonde highlights at the bottom and i hate it. i want to get it darker. like a black brown color. my dad says it will make me look goth in the winter and when my roots grow out it will look really bad. i dont think it will, it will look just like my hair now just instead of blonde it will be black brown.

do you think i should get my hair dyed that color?

as long as you go one shade darker then your hair it will look good just dont go to dark cause it will look bad

just do a basic dak brown for the base color of your whole head. then get auburn highlites. if u get ur head dyed dark brown then have lighter brown in it, it wont show unless he light brown is 5x lighter than ur base. i think it will look god and wont make u look goth.

go ahead and do it! a) it's only hair, it'll grow out; b) if you start getting roots showing, just touch it up. and if you get sick of it, and it's growing out, then you can just gradually change the color to your more natural color. In addition, you could get a semi-permanent color, that only lasts 4-6 weeks, to test it to see if it works for you.

I don't think you should go as dark, why not start with a dark brown, not a black brown. Use the non-permanent dye, it washes out gradually, after about a month.

i think you should do it ! i had blonde hair and dyed it black/brown it turned out great and if you want it back to your natural colour get it trimed and dye the roots a colour close to your natral colour and keep dyeing the roots till the black/brown colour fades ! good luck x
