Dyed brown hair, want to put blond streaks in it.?

My hair is totaly nasty right now. I dyed it a dark bown with very little higlights profressionaly back in june I think. then in october I dyed in myself like a redish brown. Then in december I tried to dye in a light brown... didn't come out and I tried putting blonde streaks in it, but those didn't turn out anywhere but my roots. What can I do to make my hair look normal again! Right now it look really bad. I have roots that are some brassy blonde and some brown.. and then past my roots is redish brown/dark brown and some areas you might find like a brassy color. What should I do? I light brown hair with some golden blond streaks and platinum blond streaks. I CAN'T go to a hair stylest. What should I buy and do to fix it.

Sorry, but this isn't something you can fix at home. If money is what's stopping you from going to a stylist, see if there is a beauty school in your area. You will probably get out with just a $30-$40 bill.

yikes!! your hair predicament sounds like mine. My hair also has blond streaks at the roots, but because the rest of the hair was dyed, the bleach made the rest of the streaks go orange. I know that I am just going to have to wait until my virgin hair is grown out so I can highlight it again, because the rest of my hair is just too screwed. Maybe you could have your hair toned to even it all out a bit. But if I were you I would save up for the hairdresser!!!
