Brown hair and lemon juice?

i have dark brown hair and i want to make it light brown

my friends hair is a little lighter brown than mine is

he made is lighter by putting lemon juice in it for about 30 min

and now his hair is lighter than it was and it looks great

will i have the same results if i have darker hair?

is there something else i should use other than lemon juice

i've never had any experience with lemon juice but i do no that sun in ( yu can buy it at a drug store) works rly well. all yu do is put some of it on the top of ur hair and then go out in the sun. If yu do it a couple of times ur hair looks lighter but natural. It blends in with ur hair great! good luck!!

Why dont you try peroxide - but be careful and do it little by little. It doesnt take much to lighten your hair - believe me!
