And she was like "No, when a person with black hair walks down the street you would say that girl has brunette hair." I said "No you would say she has black hair. It's it's seperate catagory." She said "No, there are only Brunettes, redheads and blondes." I said "No! Brunette, black, redhead, and blonde!"

If you were to bleach someone's hair that looked black, it would turn out orange, showing a great deal of red coloring in the original hair, like brown, so it can't actually be black, can it? There is an actual pigment to the hair, just like skin.......there are people with dark skin, but no one is truly "black-black". I think you'll find that very few things in life are truly "black", simply a very dark blue, brown, or green. Check out art sometime......they almost never use true black, even for shadows.
